25-Ulduar... take 1.

The best screenshot I could post involves a whole heap of people sitting at the instance door.
We got inside, cleared the trash/towers to Flame Leviathan... and then the instance servers crashed. We waited around for a while, but just ended up calling off the raid eventually.

It's unfortunate, but if you've been playing the game for a while, you come to expect this sort of thing. I'm not saying it's good mind you... or even acceptable. But yes, our expectations should lead us directly to this result.

It's a vicious cycle. People bitch that they don't have new content, so Blizzard pushes out new content before it (or Blizzard) was IMO ready to do so. It is very disappointing, to be a paying customer of a service, and to have these type of issues occur when new content is released. It's not just this patch, but WoTLK release and others. But it's a double edge blade for Blizzard. They, as a business, want to get as many paying customers as they can, hence a lot of nerfs in content and leveling and other places, to attract more people. But at the same time, they are losing quality and loyalty in the process to get more $14.99/month. Hell, you have people bitchin already that Ulduar was cleared in a day... what these people don't understand is that's why Blizz put in a hard mode with better loot. 6 of 1, Half dozen of the other. There is no winning. My advice, at least make sure you have your ducks in a row when you release new content/patches to avoid the server crashes and avoid pissing off your customers in that fashion. You have enough in the bank, Blizzard, to do that.
